Psychiatry is a medical discipline that deals with mental problems and disorders. Modern medicine regards human as a biopsychosocial creature. Therefore, psychology is also an effective and decisive factor in every aspects of human being. Psychiatric disorders can be caused by genetic, environmental and personal factors. It affects interpersonal relations or professional success.

Consultation-Liasion Psychiatric service is provided for inpatients or outpatients of our hospital.

C- Psychotherapy

Contrary to common belief, psychiatrists do not just prescribe drugs. Psychotherapy is a treatment modality that aims understanding the internal world and social relations of the person. The types of psychotherapy, also called “talking therapy”, are sometimes employed alone or combined with medication treatments depending on the condition and the case. Presenting to psychiatry clinic of our hospital, all patients are assessed regarding psychotherapy. Psychotherapies can be categorized as follows:
